Sliding colours

This are eight paintings 25x25cm on 27x27 white boards. Each square moves individually in the fashion of a sliding puzzle.

My theme is juggling, i explored in this work through movement of modules, perception, colours, and how one thing is actually many things.

If i was good at math i would tell you how many different pictures can be made from it, but i haven't done math in a long while, so i'll let you guess. The whole point is not the still picture, but the action you have on it.

Technical details:
This is acrylic paint on thick paper. I painted it using a roller paint brush and then glued each square on a thick foam plastic canvas, so that they slide nicely and it adds an edge of the same size of the stripes splitting the colours.
